Please let me hear from you!

This blog is for sharing a love of paper crafting. I love paper crafting -
and Stampin' Up! products in particular -
so much so, that I became an independent Stampin' Up!®™ demonstrator!
Full disclosure: I get a small commission on purchases made using links from this website - but this in no way affects your price. It just serves to help support this blog. Thank you in advance for that support!

Enjoy browsing my blog, and I'd love to hear from you.
It is what helps make the time I put into this blog feel worthwhile, and always brightens my day.

Memory Board = Scrapbook?

I was asked to make a memory board for my friend who died recently.  This was the result.  This board is unique in that it was put together with re-positionable adhesive and was designed to fairly easily turn into a scrapbook!  The outside panels consist of 3 completed pages each.  The inside portion is designed to come apart and be turned into scrapbook pages - not quite as quick as the outer 6 pages, but a jump start on them nonetheless.

Here are pictures of the 6 completed pages:

The blue pages are papers from Hot Off the Press.  Titles and decorative pieces are cut using white and blue glimmer papers and gold glitter cardstock.  The collages were easily made with my Fotofusion software. The titles were cut with my Silhouette. The corner treatments were made with a Spellbinder's die set. The word blocks use sticky-backed vinyl words from a company called Vinyl Words.  These were positioned on squares of glitter cardstock before being matted on white glimmer paper (fancy cut with my Fiskars paper cutter)

Over the next few days I'll show you some of what I did with the center portion to quickly turn it into scrapbook pages.
