Please let me hear from you!

This blog is for sharing a love of paper crafting. I love paper crafting -
and Stampin' Up! products in particular -
so much so, that I became an independent Stampin' Up!®™ demonstrator earlier this year!
Full disclosure: I get a small commission on purchases made using links from this website - but this in no way affects your price. It just serves to help support this blog. Thank you in advance for that support!

Enjoy browsing my blog, and I'd love to hear from you.
It is what helps make the time I put into this blog feel worthwhile, and always brightens my day.

Challenge Cards

This first card was designed for the March 2013 PW sketch challenge. It has lots of paper layers, requiring me to pull together many different different but coordinating papers from HOTP - many are papers that have been around for quite awhile.  Because this was a masculine card, I decided against using flowers on it.  Instead I made the focal itself a bit more fancy.  The words are heat embossed to help them stand out better. The focal layer is popped up on foam tape for a bit more dimension.

This card was also made for a challenge on the Paper Wishes message board.  This time it was a color challenge - to use coral and gray.  I guess the coral may be a little on the light side, but this is what I came up with.  The patterned papers are from HOTP - though older papers.  The gray glimmer paper is embossed with an embossing folder.  The border stamp is from the Stamp and Punch set (HOTP).  I purchased this set for the frames and greetings, but am finding the little border stamp that comes with them to be a really nice one that I'm using a lot. The "U" is popped up on foam tape.
