HD Meadow Farm - Mother Hen

Today I have 4 cards from a Hunkydory Deco-Large kit called Meadow Farm - the set called Mother Hen.  This is the first set I've used from this kit.  Here's a picture of the materials:

As you can see, there was one sheet of printed Adoreable Scoreable card stock (AS), a 1/2-die cut sheet with main design and some sentiments/borders, and a full page of die cut deco pieces.  Here are the 4 cards I made from the set.

And here's a closeup look at each.

Card #1:

For this first card, I fussy cut the AS picture & added green shine design paper from HOTP on either side of it.  I added a die cut piece to the hen with foam tape to create a bit of dimension.  The greeting was cut from a Debbi Moore freebie and embellished with a die cut flower.

Inside:

Scraps of the shine design, the AS sheet, a border strip cut in two, die cuts from the set, and the bottom portion of a die cut piece (cut from the focal on the card you see at the top of this post).  The sentiment was stamped from a Crafter's Companion Compendium set called Thinking of You.

Card #2:

Next up I have a card base made from a marbleized cream card stock.  I fussy cut a die cut piece to fit inside a gold die cut (Stitched Ovals cutting die from Creative Dies Design).  I matted this on another piece of the green shine design, some dark red shimmer paper, some gold card stock, and a variety of die cut pieces - including a piece of hen that I added with foam tape.  The sentiment was a cut out from a Debbi Moore freebie.

Inside:

Inside I used scraps of the papers used on the card front, and a few of the die cuts from the set.  The stamp is from a Crafter's Companion Compendium set called With Love.

Card #3:

Next up, the background was cut from the AS - and bordered with lines made from a permanent marker.  I added the main focal & a sentiment from the 1/2 die cut sheet - along with another hen piece that I added with foam tape.  Then I completed the card front with ivy pieces die cut from glimmer paper.

Inside:

Inside I added borders of the same background AS, a die cut hen piece, and more of the die cut ivy.  The inside sentiment was made with alphabet stickers from my stash.

Card #4:

The final card started with a die cut from gold poster board (die from Spellbinders Card Creator set called Fancy Ribbon Threader).  I fussy cut a die cut hen piece to fit inside the die cut - along with a scrap of light green patterned paper that serves as background for it.  I threaded a couple pieces of fancy black ribbon from my stash and tied it into a bow.  I matted it with a narrow black mat before adding it to the plaid background (old HOTP patterned paper).  Finally, I added a die cut sentiment (from the Hunkydory set).

Inside:

Inside, I added a scrap of plaid paper, black paper, and gold poster board to create a border.  The remaining die cut pieces from the set add to the border.  The sentiment was stamped another stamp from Crafter's Companion Compendium set called Thinking of You.
