Glitzy Christmas Card

Today's "Focal Friday Focus" highlights a Christmas card. The focal is made using an outline sticker, perfect pearls, foil paper, and a metallic pen as follows:
  • Place an outline sticker on white cardstock.
  • Create a "paint" using a SMALL bit of Perfect Pearls powder and a little water and paint inside the outline sticker.  Here I used three colors of perfect pearls, Forever Violet, Forever Green, and Forever Blue - from the Jewels Perfect Pearls package.
  • While your focal is drying, cut an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of silver cardstock in half, score it down the middle, and fold it for your card base.
  • Cut and emboss a piece of red foil paper using a nestabilities die. Glue it to the center of the card as shown.
  • Add a Greeting - mine is an outline sticker.
  • When "paint" has dried on the focal outline sticker, cut around it. Attach it to the center of red oval with foam dots.  Stick a star in the center (mine was from the greetings outline sticker sheet)
  • Outline the embossed edge of the oval with a silver metallic pen.
In real life, this is another card that really SHINES!
