Teal Birthday

This was a really quick card since I had already pre-made the focal.

Focal: This particular pre-made focal (click link to see how it was made) used stamps and die from JustRite (Nested Oval Medallion die, and stamps from Always and Forever Medallion Labels, Botanical Swirls Labels).  I matted it with foam tape on a black piece that was cut using a JustRite Vintage Labels Two die. A little piece of knotted ribbon finishes it off.

Background: I started with a rectangle cut with a fancy edge on my paper cutter.  Then I took a patterned piece from a DCWV stack.  I cut off about an inch and a half and cut down the center with my paper cutter, saving this for the inside (see below - obviously matted in black).  I cut the rest into four pieces with my paper cutter and arranged them on the background - then I decided to cover the horizontal spaces with a ribbon so it looks like there are only two pieces.
