and Stampin' Up! products in particular -
so much so, that I became an independent Stampin' Up!®™ demonstrator earlier this year!
Full disclosure: I get a small commission on purchases made using links from this website - but this in no way affects your price. It just serves to help support this blog. Thank you in advance for that support!

Christmas Sketch Cards

Today I have 4 cards based on a sketch on page 14 of the September-December 2025 Mini Catalog.

Card #1 (above):   A quick and easy card.  I simply cut a piece of Secret Sea cardstock just smaller than my card front, cut a piece of patterned paper a bit smaller than that - then chopped it into four pieces and arranged them on the card with the cardstock as a mat.  Then I cut a circle from white cardstock on which I stamped my greeting using Secret Sea ink, and matted it on Secret Sea cardstock.  The final touch was a gold ribbon bow.

Card #2:

This was another pretty quick card!  For the background, using Cherry Cobbler and Pool Party cardstock, I embossed a couple of pieces of each using the Fern 3D folder and glued in place as you see in the picture.  I cut an oval piece of Basic White cardstock and matted it on Gold.  I stamped a greeting using Real Red ink and added a bouquet which had been die cut from the patterned paper.  I finished with a few pieces from the Gold Flower Accents embellishment pack.

Card #3:

For this one, I used two pieces of patterned paper and matted them on Real Red cardstock.  Then I added a couple more of the cardstock pieces that had been embossed with the Cane Weave 3D folder.  I cut an oval from Basic White, stamped a greeting on it (using Real Red ink) and added a fussy cut flower from the patterned paper before matting it on a gold oval mat.  Final touches were to add a few gold stars from the Gold Shaker Stars mix.

Card #4:

This time I again used matted patterned paper and embossed cardstock for my background, but used the Mini Corrugated 3D folder this time.  I die cut a Basic White rectangle using a die from Textured Notes die set and stamped my greeting on it in real red.  On a separate piece of white cardstock I stamped the floral spray and then stamped the center of it again - both times using VersaMark ink.  I heat embossed this with gold embossing powder - then used Stampin' Blends markers to add some color.  I die cut the full floral spray and fussy cut the center poinsettia from the partially stamped piece.  I glued the floral spray to the top of the white rectangle and added the fussy cut piece on top with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals and put it on top of the die
