Today I have another Bible Journaling page. For more information about the meaning of this page for me, check my other blog - here . As to how I made it, it is an inserted page (because I had already done journaling on both pages & REALLY wanted to journal about these verses too!), glued in place using a "ZIP" Line adhesive strip. Here's what I did:
- I started with a piece of vellum-like paper that had a shimmery sheen to it and printed the picture onto the page. To make sure it didn't smear on the slippery surface of this paper, I covered it with clear embossing powder & heat embossed it.
- If I had thought about it, I might have also printed the verse, but I didn't think about it at the time. SO, I printed the text on a separate sheet & the traced it with a Sharpie.
- Next I tried spraying with Glimmer Mist, but that really didn't show well on this paper.
- I added color with Distress inks (Salty Ocean & Broken China).
That's it! Pretty simple, really, but a meaningful page. It's actually translucent so you see the page behind it, but I put a craft sheet behind it for taking the picture.

Love this Cheryl ! Must be pretty IRL . Do you use an inket or laser printer/.
Thanks, Heather! I use an ink-jet - which is why on glossy-type paper, I ALWAYS emboss the entire image with clear embossing powder to keep it from smearing.
