Gelato Thanks

Yes, I had a lot of backgrounds I hadn't used.  Here's another.  This one was made with gelatos scribbled on plain card stock & blended with a baby wipe.

CARD FRONT:
  • Background: This time I ran the background through an embossing folder (Darice - Damask) before trimming it to size and matting it on green card stock.
  • Border: Another strip of green card stock with a smaller scrap of the background paper was added near the bottom of the card & then 3 green shimmer foam pieces from my stash were added to the right-hand side.
  • Focal: The focal was created using Spellbinder's Labels One cutting dies - cutting and embossing one from green card stock & the next smaller one from white card stock.  Using the die as a stencil, I added a bit of ink to the edges of the die with a round blending tool in light circular motion.  Then I stamped the sentiment (HOTP - "Happy, Hello, Love & Thanks") with a dark green ink.
INSIDE: The inside was done in a similar way using a smaller piece of card stock & gelato background for the border, and smaller dies from the set for the sentiment.  The sentiment itself is from a JustRite set called "For All You Do".
