Spellbinders Shapeabilities - Fair Isle Pendants

Today I'm showcasing a card made using the Fair Isle Pendants die set from Spellbinders.  The focal is another one that uses a chalk on white focal (stamp image with white pigment ink, let dry, color with chalks).  In this case, clear Stickles were added for a bit of glitz.

The cream colored mat was cut and embossed with the Fair Isle Pendants die set.  (The dark brown was cut with a Fleur de Lis Square Nestability die).  The pink/brown mat was also made with this set, even though there isn't a die that big in the set!  I simply traced around the die used for the cream colored mat, EXCEPT after I had drawn a couple of the "bumps," I moved the die and added a third before tracing the corner.  After repeating this so I got the shape shown, I simply cut along my traced lines with a pair of scissors.

The sentiment is stamped with Timber Brown Stazon ink.  Several ribbons of different colors and widths are layered to finish off this card.
