Armed Services Theme

Since it's so close to the 4th of July, we'll look at a couple of Armed Service themed pages.  In this case, the major thing that supports the theme in these pages is the camoflauge paper that was used for the background and the page titles.

The titles and title mats were cut with my Silhouette.

The corner treatments are created with a Card Creator Punch called "Laurel".  Some of the pieces that were punched out are glued on the photo corners. I then drew around them with a black pen to help them stand out better.

The border on the first page was made with a border punch, layered on top of black paper so it shows through the punched areas.  It is finished with a thin black ribbon. The borders on the second page were cut with a decorative paper cutter and decorated with remaining punched scraps - this time cut in two.
