This interactive mini album is based on a design by Tamar Perry of Creative Treasures. You can find some of her tutorials here. The bulk of the papers are from a discontinued Stampin' Up! set called Season of Green and Gold, augmented with Stampin' Up cardstock and some papers from my stash. I've designed it as a gift that will include Title options the recipient can add to the front of the album, a variety of colored mats for photos that can be added to the pages and flaps, decorative embellishment pieces that can be added, and a roll of Stampin' Up!s Tear and Tape they can use to add their photos, mats, and embellishments. In the picture above, you can see what it looks like without the title. The rest of the photos are a bit of a walk through of opening the various pages and flaps.
Here you see the album with the strap released and the first flap opened toward the top of the album. The inside of it, with the lovely gold foil pattern on cream, has a decorative flap that can hold a large photo. The new page that has been revealed has a decorative mat for a square photo, along with a mat that slides into the pocket that can have photo or journaling on both sides of it.
And this is what that first page looks like with the gold foil flap opened.Opening the second flap (which opens to the left of the album) shows a page with two flaps which can both hold photos on the front and on the back. And here you see those flaps opened to reveal room for a large photo (or smaller ones hidden behind the flaps if you wish). As you can see, opening that page to the left, revealed another just like it that opens to the right. With both of those pages opened, a new page appears. There's room for a large picture here as well. Before opening the page, we open the flap to reveal more room for photos - just like the page that opened to the top.
Opening the 4th page not only reveals the same gold pattern on cream as the inside of the first page, we now see another page with a large pocket on it. There is a mat inside it that can hold photos and/or journaling front and back. We can also add pictures to the front of the pocket if we wish. This page opens to the left and it's matching page opens to the right to reveal . . .
Each page has a belly band with 3 mats that can be slid in and out and hold photos or journaling front and back. Here we have the 3 mats pulled out from the left side belly band. With both of those belly band pages visible, we now can see a waterfall of flaps for holding more photos. One can go on the pretty green and gold page.Opening the first flap shows two more places for photos. And opening the 2nd flap shows two more places for photos.Opening the final flap shows the final two places for photos. What a FUN interactive mini album! And it can hold a LOT of photos. A big thank you to Tamar for sharing her design so I could make this fun album.
