2023 August Swap Card

Today's card is for a swap - the theme is "anything goes with dry embossing".   

Most of the patterned pieces & background are from a freebie digital download.  As you can see, I did a lot of fussy cutting of flowers for the focal & embellishments.  I cut a piece of white card stock into an oval using Spellbinders Petite Classic Ovals Large die set - and did the same with a smaller die for the sentiment.  Then I ran both through a Cuttlebug embossing folder called Swiss Dots.  I added ribbon from my stash and some pink sticky-backed vinyl mats (which was the closest color I had in my stash).

Here we have a simple scrap forming the border - with a circle of white card stock and fussy cut leftovers from the card front.  The final touch is a stamped greeting - from Crafter's Companion Compendium - sheet called Celebrate.
