Please let me hear from you!

This blog is for sharing a love of paper crafting. I love paper crafting -
and Stampin' Up! products in particular -
so much so, that I became an independent Stampin' Up!®™ demonstrator earlier this year!
Full disclosure: I get a small commission on purchases made using links from this website - but this in no way affects your price. It just serves to help support this blog. Thank you in advance for that support!

Enjoy browsing my blog, and I'd love to hear from you.
It is what helps make the time I put into this blog feel worthwhile, and always brightens my day.

Thanksgiving 2018 Scrapbook Page

I FINALLY made a scrapbook page for the first Thanksgiving in our new home - 4 years ago!

It took such a long time because I kept hoping that SOMEONE got pictures - but never did find anyone who did.  The other day, I came across the remnants of the Thanksgiving game we played that year and thought, "YES!  I can use that in place of pictures!"  SO, that is what I did.

The background is a napkin that is the same as what I believe we used that year.  After separating the layers of the napkin, I put double-sided adhesive over a 12 x 12 sheet of card stock, then folded back the protective sheet a little bit at a time to adhere the printed napkin layer. Then I simply trimmed around the card stock.  The title numbers & the journaling were computer printed, and the pumpkin & seeds were purchased from Oriental Trading Company.
