A Very Merry Christmas - A Classic Christmas

Continuing with this Hunkydory "A Very Merry Christmas" set, we get to the set called "A Classic Christmas".  So far most of the card structures have been pretty plain, but I started getting bored and thinking about other card structures to use.  Most of the ones I made in this set were the standard kind, but this first is a center step card.

The background is cut from one of the coordinating papers so that the border runs along the bottom edge of the card front.  The focal is the base focal from this set, with a few of the die cuts added with foam tape.  A sentiment from the Essential Book of Christmas Greetings finishes the front.

The inside is simply a piece of matching insert paper cut to size and inked before being added to the card.

Card number 2 in this set is really pretty in real life.  The focal is made from an image from the Little Book, to which a few die cuts have been added with foam tape.  Surrounding this is a frame that was die cut from gold glimmer paper and added with foam tape.  A sentiment top and bottom (also from the set) finishes off this beautiful card front.

Inside is simply a piece of the coordinating card stock made into a border by matting it on gold glimmer paper.

The third card front is pieced from one of the scenes from the Little book and a bit of coordinating paper. This was inked all around and then added to the card front.  A coordinating border sits near the join, and the focal picture has several die cut pieces layered up on it.  The die cut sentiment finishes it off nicely.

The inside is simply a piece of coordinating insert paper.

The fourth and final card starts with a background from the coordinating card stock - but it has been pieced so that the lower border butts up against the rest forming a border that matches the top.  Some die cut pieces are foam taped to this, and a die cut sentiment finished the front off nicely.

The inside is simply a couple of pieces of insert paper - cut the same way as above to give the double border look.

I must say that the pictures do NOT do these cards justice as you really can't see the dimension on them.  In real life, these cards are REALLY pretty.  Adding these 4 cards (made once again by using only half of the supplies in this coordinating set of Deco Large, double papers & inserts, and little book), our grand total of cards now stands at 21 - and we're not even half-way through them!!!
