Please let me hear from you!

This blog is for sharing a love of paper crafting. I love paper crafting -
and Stampin' Up! products in particular -
so much so, that I became an independent Stampin' Up!®™ demonstrator earlier this year!
Full disclosure: I get a small commission on purchases made using links from this website - but this in no way affects your price. It just serves to help support this blog. Thank you in advance for that support!

Enjoy browsing my blog, and I'd love to hear from you.
It is what helps make the time I put into this blog feel worthwhile, and always brightens my day.

Another special ornament

This ornament was commissioned as a special gift from our dancing group for our teachers who celebrated their 50th Anniversary this year.  It was etched with etching cream using a pattern cut from adhesive vinyl with my Silhouette - the heart frame was a freebie from Joanne (http://joanne6523.blogspot.com).

The etching left the glass clear where you see the gold.  The gold was cut from an adhesive backed mylar and applied to the clear glass.  I colored the silver top of the ornament gold with a gold leafing pen.  A ribbon finishes it off. Here is the back of the ornament:

You can't really see it in the picture, but I put a Dazzles border along the edge of the ornament.  Here's the box I created for it:
