Nine Dovecraft Cards

Today I have 9 cards - all made from the remnants of a Dovecraft card making set I got in a Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine called Fairy Tales.  I had already used the "Fairy" die cuts and papers, so just had some butterfly ones left.  Here are the cards made from this set.

Card #1:

For this first card, I mostly used papers with only a sentiment die cut for focal.  I used silver linen card stock for matting & a cutting die (Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles Two).

Inside:

For the inside, I used strips of scraps and a couple fussy cut butterflies from one of the papers.

Card #2:

Next up is a card that used 2 different papers - both matted with white.  A couple of die cuts from the set complete the card front.

Inside:

Scraps of the same papers form borders for the inside.

Card #3:

Here I again used two different papers - again matted with white.  I created a border/focal using more of the papers.  I fussy cut two more butterflies and added them with foam tape.  The sentiment was another die cut from the set.

Inside:

Inside I used more of the same papers.

Card #4:

Here I used two other papers from the same set - along with the silver linen card stock and some die cuts.  It was loosely based on a sketch on the message board I frequent.

Inside:

Scraps of the same finish the inside of the card.

Card #5:

This one used the yellow print with some blue textured card stock from my stash matting it. Two die cuts from the set complete the card front.

Inside:

Once again, scraps of the same papers form borders on the inside.

Card #6:

This time I just used a stitched rectangle that I die cut from silver linen card stock  - Stitched Rectangles Dots & Stars (CraftiPotential), with several die cuts from the set.

Inside:

Inside I used some scraps of paper with more die cuts from the set to form borders.

Card #7:

On the card front, I used two of the papers and matted the yellow with silver linen card stock from my stash.  I added two die cuts from the set.

Inside:

Here a piece of silver linen card stock and some fussy cut butterflies from one of the papers creates a border for the inside of the card.

Card #8:

This card has one paper from the set along with silver linen card stock.  Then used five more die cuts to decorate the card front.

Inside:

Inside I have more of the linen card stock & patterned paper - along with a piece of die cut border & two small die cuts from the set.

Card #9:

Once again I used two papers & more of the silver linen card stock.  5 more die cuts from the set complete the card front.

Inside:

Inside I used a frame of patterned paper to decorate & create a space for a personal message.
