Please let me hear from you!

This blog is for sharing a love of paper crafting. I love paper crafting -
and Stampin' Up! products in particular -
so much so, that I became an independent Stampin' Up!®™ demonstrator earlier this year!
Full disclosure: I get a small commission on purchases made using links from this website - but this in no way affects your price. It just serves to help support this blog. Thank you in advance for that support!

Enjoy browsing my blog, and I'd love to hear from you.
It is what helps make the time I put into this blog feel worthwhile, and always brightens my day.

An "Unbirthday" Card

I had been invited to a child's birthday party where there were several birthdays being celebrated among cousins and the only child who didn't have a birthday soon was a younger sibling that was feeling very left out.  As the youngest, he really didn't understand why he wouldn't be getting presents too.  So I decided to give him a small gift with an "un-birthday" card.  Most of the materials are from a freebie download from www.papercraftinspirationsmagazine.co.uk.  The greetings were created on my computer and printed out.

I fussy cut the car on three sides, but left the card on the left side – scoring it and tucking the resulting flap behind the background that has the road and trees.

A pocket on the inside of the card (created using a template from HOTP) holds several small cut-outs that can fit on the road on the front of the card.  See them in the picture below.

The red patterned paper is from my stash.

Here are a few of the cars set on the road.
