Sticker Focals with Distress Inks

This unusual card began with Distress Inks and a stencil - 3 colors of ink haphazardly applied over the stencil before the stencil was removed.  The maroon square was a sample piece of vinyl I'd gotten somewhere covered with the "innies" of a leaf outline sticker.

Using innies is pretty easy once you get the hang of it.  I covered them with blue painters tape, burnished them, then carefully pulled them off the backing paper attached to the tape (making sure they all came off with the tape).  I then placed the painter's tape with stickers on top of the vinyl, burnished again, then carefully removed the tape, leaving the stickers in place.

The outline was drawn with a copper-colored Sharpie pen. The sentiment was hand-drawn on a cream-colored oval, and a cream-colored ribbon looks like it is tied around the stem of leaves.

Never thought of using my painter's tape, I use plain scotch tape. I've given up on transfer sheets - the only ones that seem to work with no problem are the ones that come with sticker sentiments.
