I love the simple elegance of today's card. The cream and gold go together so well. Though the occasion isn't a happy one, I know from personal experience how much a card can mean at a time like this, so I like to have some nice ones on hand.
This card once again showcases that Designables Cutting and Embossing Folder that I like so well. Matted on gold and touched up with gold Liquid Pearls, I think it looks really elegant.
The background is deceptively simple. I simply scored on the diagonal both ways at 1/2" intervals. I love my Martha Stewart score board for this. It makes scoring on the diagonal pretty easy. After scoring, I simply added the gold liquid pearls at each crossing point.
The sentiment is a Dazzles Sticker from Hot Off the Press.
