Cardmaking helps with scrapbooking - Faux Stitching
Another technique creeping into my scrapbooking that I first used in cardmaking is faux stitching. These pages are a good example. If you look closely, you'll see the black faux stitching lines around frames and titles.
On the first page, frames were created with my Spellbinders dies and Big Shot machine. On the 2nd page, the frame has corners created by cutting and folding the paper -- based on the Hot Off the Press Template called Diamond Folds #3.
Both pages have titles cut with my Silhouette.

Cheryl, I just love your pages with your old family photos. What a marvelous album for family members to go through! Very inspirational for me!
