Cards from June Cardmaking and Papercraft Papers

Today I have 8 cards made from the freebie papers from the June 2019 issure of Cardmaking and Papercrafting magazine.

This first one is a cutaway card - with both sides of the front cut away (5" x 6.5" card base).  It uses several different papers from the freebie set, along with cutouts from the set and ribbon from my stash. Here's what the inside looks like:

Next up is another 5" x 6.5" card made with only one of the patterns, some of the cut outs, and ribbon from my stash. I also added white border stickers & plain white card stock.  Some of the bees are background paper glued to plain card stock & fussy cut.  The one on the card front was added with foam tape.

Next is an A2 card - papers and cut outs from the set were combined with blue paper from my stash, white ribbon and blue sequins.  As you can see, I inked the edges.

Here's an A2 card made using the white and green patterned paper with green and white paper from my stash & a cut out from the papers.  (The cut out was matted multiple times with white and green.) In addition there are little sequins and dots from my stash.

Next up is another 5" x 6.5" card made using the daisy pattern with yellow card stock from my stash.  In addition to the cut outs from the papers, I added fussy cut flowers, sequins from my stash, and white border stickers.

Next up is a birthday cut away card made from a 5" x 7" card base.  A large piece of pattern paper was put on the inside - part of which shows to the outside.  The remaining part of the card front was colored with ink and a sponge applicator & then embossed with an embossing folder. More patterned papers & cutouts decorate the card front - along with bits of ribbon & blue jewels.

This 7th card was actually the last one I made.  I experimented with using bits and pieces of leftovers and stickers from my stash.

Here's the 8th and final card made from these papers.  This was actually the first card I made from the set, where I tried to use a variety of patterns on one card - something I find quite challenging.  In addition to inking some of the edges, I also added some ribbons.
