Please let me hear from you!

This blog is for sharing a love of paper crafting. I love paper crafting -
and Stampin' Up! products in particular -
so much so, that I became an independent Stampin' Up!®™ demonstrator earlier this year!
Full disclosure: I get a small commission on purchases made using Stampin' Up! links from this website - but this in no way affects your price. It just serves to help support my blogs. Thank you in advance for that support!

As of January 21, 2026, most of my Stampin' Up! makes are moving to
https://cheringloveofpaper.blogspot.com/, with makes from other materials here.
Enjoy browsing my blogs, and I'd love to hear from you.
It is what helps make the time I put into these blogs feel worthwhile, and always brightens my day.

Unusual Anniversary Card

This anniversary card is unusual - at least for me - because I would seldom use those colors for such an occasion.  However, they are the colors the bride had at her wedding so I went with it!  I had to finish my card quickly because I had just remembered about the anniversary of guests who were coming that night for dinner and had plenty to do!

After cutting my background paper to size and inking the edges with dark blue ink, I attached it to my card front.

The focal element was created using "Dazzles" from Hot Off the Press. I simply placed the stickers on my yellow-gold glimmer paper and cut close to the edges.  Then I heat embossed my sentiment on them.

I matted my sentiment hearts on blue glimmer paper backed with the same yellow-gold.  The mat was created using one of Maryanne's cut and emboss folders.  After attaching the mat to the card, I added the heart sentiments with foam tape for dimension.
