Make Your Own Hammer

I like to have my embellishments support the theme if I can, rather than just having embellishments for embellishments sake.  For this page, the quote really called for a hammer or two, but I didn't have any.  So, I cut my own die-cut shapes with my Silhouette.  There are a lot of sites that have free patterns on the web and that's where I found these.  I think I probably got them on the UKScrappers website, which is where I find a lot of mine.

For one hammer I used white for the hammer head and black for the handle.  The other had silver gray for the hammer head and red for the handle.  On both of them I used penwork to add dimension to the handle.  The matted title and quote were also cut on my Silhoutte using fonts I had on my computer.
