Cards from Digital Papers +

Today I have 4 cards made using digital downloads to print the background papers.  No idea where they came from, but I thought they were pretty.  The first two are made using an art deco style background paper.  I thought it would go perfectly with some of the downloads I have from Debbi Moore.

Card #1:

I was right!  these images go perfectly.  After printing and fussy cutting them, I matted them on Cherry Cobbler cardstock and then on Basic White.  It's a simple card, but I DO like the way it turned out.

Card #2:

This time I just added the fussy cut focal with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals - and that's it!  IRL, it looks great!  I will put this in my "Misc" category of cards and add a sentiment when I know who I want to send it to.

Card #3:

These last two cards use another digital background paper - this time a floral print.  I saw both blue and purple in it and decided to focus on purple and then on blue and see how they turned out.  For both of them, I used the Stamp/Die/Decorative Masks bundle called Thankful Garden.  Those decorative masks color the flowers so quickly and with such depth!  It's a great set.

For this one I used Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape inks - with Gorgeous Grape cardstock for the mats.  The focal mat was embossed with the discontinued Cane Weave 3D embossing folder and then die cut with a die from the Textured Notes set.  I added a sentiment that was stamped and die cut using the Mixed Labels stamp and die set.  The stamps are no longer available, but the dies are great and are currently on Last Chance.  I added a few of the Rhinestone Basic Jewels for some sparkle.

Card #4:

This last card is SO different from the previous - even though they both use the same background paper and focal!  This time I colored the focal using Boho Blue (discontinued) and Blueberry Bushel inks.  I used Blueberry Bushel cardstock for mats and borders, and finished with a Balmy Blue twine bow. I think this may be my favorite of the bunch.
