For this older KCC set, I again chose to use papers pulled from several paper packs.
This set of 6x6 papers again started with a paper from the Beautiful Bokeh 6x6 papers (this one Balmy Blue). And, as I've done in the past, I added pieces from some discontinued paper sets. I added 5 additional papers - one from Subtles 6x6 DSP (Balmy Blue), one from Neutrals 6x6 DSP (Night of Navy). Both of these sets from the 2024-2025 catalog, but you can find something similar from the current catalog here and here. The final three papers were from the discontinued Countryside Inn 12 x 12 papers - cut to 6x6 for this project.
In addition to the patterned papers, I used cardstock in these colors: Basic White, Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, Balmy Blue, and the discontinued Boho Blue. I also used ink in these colors: Tuxedo Black Memento, Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, Balmy Blue, Boho Blue (discontinued); and Stampin' Blends in these colors: Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Boho Blue (discontinued). Embellishments, and stamps/dies etc used are mentioned in the description of each card.
Here's what the entire set of cards looks like:
And here's a closer look at each.
Card #1:
I pretty much followed the sketch for this one except for adding mats & making the top tag a bit smaller (so I could cut all my mats from the inside of the larger mat where the missing parts wouldn't be seen - I HATE wasting cardstock!). The sentiment was made using a discontinued hybrid embossing folder called Thoughtful Moments. I LOVE that you can make a bunch of these at once with black outlines (by taking ink pad directly to the embossing folder) and then color them in with Stampin' Blends when you know what color you want to make them! Though these are discontinued, right now you can get a Christmas one that does the same thing. It's called Christmas Words Collage Hybrid Embossing Folder. Before gluing the panel to the card front, I ran a piece of ribbon around the corner and taped it in back. Then I added a ribbon bow using a Mini Glue Dot (unfortunately that gorgeous ribbon has since been discontinued).
Card #2:
Though this card looks like a standard card, it is actually a gate fold as you can see in the picture below. I cut the white panel as normal, embossed it using the Joined Together 3D embossing folder, before cutting it in half and gluing half to each side. The card base itself was made from Balmy Blue cardstock. That was the main enhancement I made to the sketch, but I also matted the patterned paper pieces on Basic White before adding them to the Night Of Navy cardstock square. My sentiment was also matted on Night of Navy. The focal was stamped and die cut using the Inspiring Imperfections bundle and Night of Navy ink. I used all three Stampin' Blends markers to color it. Here's what it looks like partially opened.

Card #4:
Again, this is very much like the sketch, and again the stamped sentiment is from the discontinued stamp set called Mixed Labels stamped with Night of Navy ink. Cardstock used was: Basic White, Night of Navy and Misty Moonlight.
Card #5:
This sketch is a great one for using scraps - from 5 different papers! In addition to the cardstock mats (Basic White and Night of Navy) I used the Beautiful Butterflies stamp and hybrid embossing folder bundle to create the butterflies and sentiment. Butterflies were die cut from Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight, and Night of Navy. The sentiment was stamped with Night of Navy ink.
This is another great sketch for using scraps - 6 different papers on this one! I again used dies from the Beautiful Butterflies hybrid embossing folder to create my butterflies - adding iridescent discs to their bodies (unfortunately, those have been discontinued, but you could try these Frosted Iridescent Dots).
Card #7:
This was a pretty unusual sketch. I had a discontinued stamp set I got on "last chance" several months ago that I really hadn't used much (called Painted Lavender). I decided to use it for my focal - along with the matching dies. I embossed the dark blue cardstock with the discontinued 3D folder called Fern. I had made a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock for the card blank, but it seemed so "bare" that I decided to stamp it with another stamp from the Painted Lavender set. I really didn't like the result as it seemed a bit dark. I used some white sticker strips and a white bow to lighten it up a bit. It's still not my favorite, but is much better.
Card #8:
This was a fun sketch. The sentiment stamp was again from the discontinued stamp set called Mixed Labels. The sequins I used were from the Starburst Sequins set. No, there are no Navy ones in there. I colored some of the white ones with a Night of Navy Stampin' Blends marker.

Card #10:
I didn't think this sketch would work that well, but by the time I was finished, I liked it. Some of the layers used the discontinued Cane Weave 3D embossing folder. Others were die cut with the Textured Notes cutting die set. The focal was stamped with the discontinued Flower Cart stamp set, and the sentiment with the discontinued So Sincere stamp set. Again, I colored some clear sequins with Night of Navy Stampin' Blends markers.
