Calendar Cards

Today's cards all started their lives as calendars, though I added things from my stash as well.

Card #1 (above): This first one adds a purple mat, a ribbon, and a sentiment.

Inside:

Inside I stamped a sentiment using purple ink (Dusty Concord distress ink) and a stamp from CCC (Crafter's Companion Compendium) page called Birthday - Female.

Card #2:

This card front is mostly a piece of a calendar page.  The sentiment is stamped using stamps from two sets - Gingerbread mini stamps, and Gears Wheels Cogs Kit - then double matted.

Inside:

Inside I added a small picture from the same calendar and a couple of border strips in teal.

Card #3:

Here again, the main portion of the card was cut from a calendar page.  The "Happy Father's Day" was stamped with green ink using a rubber stamp (Father's Day Retro - Sweet Stamps).

Inside:

Here I added another piece cut from a calendar for the inside of the card.

Card #4:

Here we have another card based on pieces from a calendar.  This one was fussy cut along the bottom edge.  I narrowly matted it with black - then a bit wider from red - both from my stash.  The sentiment was stamped in red on a piece of cream - then double matted.  The stamp was called Father's Day Retro - from Sweet Stamps.

Inside:

Inside is a border created from another calendar piece that has been double matted.  The sentiment is another CCC stamp - this one from the page called Inspirational.

Card #5:

This last card is an inspirational note card.  It is simply a piece of calendar, double matted with a piece of brown card stock to highlight the text.
