Please let me hear from you!

This blog is for sharing a love of paper crafting. I love paper crafting -
and Stampin' Up! products in particular -
so much so, that I became an independent Stampin' Up!®™ demonstrator earlier this year!
Full disclosure: I get a small commission on purchases made using links from this website - but this in no way affects your price. It just serves to help support this blog. Thank you in advance for that support!

Enjoy browsing my blog, and I'd love to hear from you.
It is what helps make the time I put into this blog feel worthwhile, and always brightens my day.

A 2nd Look at Wisdom

A few days ago I showed you a layout I framed about Wisdom.  Here's the actual Bible page - it is the facing page to what I showed yesterday.  It did NOT work the way my sample did, and there are things I don't like as well about it, but it still gets my point across.

I found for this picture, instead of using my Scroll & Brush markes (ZIG) with my Stampscapes stamps, I had to use distress ink - which of course brought it's own set of challenges since it's too hard to use my stamping platform with a Bible page - at least near the end like this.  Since distress inks don't always give a clear image . . . I was able to use my markers to add details - just not to stamp with on this page (didn't play nice with the clear gesso layer).

The ship being thrown against the rocks is labled "DOUBT", while the canoe on peaceful waters is labeled "FAITH".  Once again I used my Pitt pens for the journaling.  The title was created by tracing a printed word with my Pitt pens.
