HD Vintage Blossom - Vintage Auburn

This is the final set in the Hunkydory Vintage Blossom kit - set called Vintage Auburn.  It's another double set which looked like this:

Each set had 2 sheets of AS (adoreable scoreable card stock) and a sheet of die cuts.  EXCEPT that some of the die cuts, and one of the AS sheets had already been used. I added a few extra die cuts from the HD Bigger Book of Toppers - Florals.

Here are the 8 cards I made from these materials.

In each of the cards, is  a stamped sentiment from the Crafter's Companion Compendium (CCC).  Closeups of each card are below:

Card #1:

This one was pretty simple.  A piece of AS formed the background & focal.  Then die cuts from the set form a border at the top.

Inside:

Inside, a piece of AS and a small extra die cut forms the border.  The stamped sentiment is from CCC Heartfelt

Card #2:

Here AS is not only the background, but also forms a border strip.  Die cuts form the focal, frame, border strip, and sentiment.  As you can see, I turned the frame on end.

Inside:

A strip of AS and a narrow strip of scrap from the die cut sheet creates a backdrop for the extra die cut.  The sentiment was stamped using a stamp from CCC - Birthday-Female.

Card #3:

Next up, I used a small corner of a frame to form a "hanger" for the focal die cut placed on the bordered AS.  I added a Jewel Dazzle to "hang" the focal on, and added a sentiment sticker from my stash.

Inside:

Scraps of AS form a border - along with a couple strips of washi tape.  The sentiment was stamped from CCC - Thinking of You.

Card #4:

Here I used a couple die cut frames to create interest around the focal die cut.  The sentiment was an extra die cut.

Inside:

Once again the border was created with a scrap of AS & a scrap from the die cut sheet.  The sentiment was stamped with CCC - Thank You.

Card #5:

A piece of AS forms a background for the die cuts that form focal, frames, and sentiment.

Inside:

Inside more AS forms borders, an extra die cut decorates it, and the sentiment was stamped from CCC - Birthday-Female.

Card #6:

The background was a piece of AS.  To this, I added a peach-colored washi tape all around the edges of the card.  I added some decorative washi tape top and bottom - then some Thin Line Dazzles.  I added die cut border, sentiment, and focal - again using a corner of frame to create a "hanger" for the focal. Again I used a Jewel Dazzle on which to "hang" the focal.  The butterfly was a sticker from my stash.

Inside:

An inside border was created with a piece of AS, a small piece of border die cut, small pieces of washi tape, and fine line dazzles.  The sentiment was stamped using a stamp from CCC - Celebrate.

Card #7:

The background/focal is once again a piece of AS.  I embossed a piece of cream colored card stock using a Darice embossing folder called Damask, and used it for a border.  Gold braid from my stash edged it top and bottom, and a sentiment die cut completed it.

Inside:

The border was created using an AS scrap, a scrap from the die cut sheet, and a flower die cut from my stash (matted on a piece of gold poster board.  The sentiment was stamped using a stamp from CCC - Birthday-Female.

Card #8:

This last card again used a piece of border AS.  Multiple frame pieces form a mat for the die cut focal.  The die cut sentiment finished the card front.

Inside:

Scraps of AS and gold poster board form a border at the bottom.  A squirrel sticker & leaf die cuts from my stash decorate the border.  The stamped message was again from CCC - Birthday-Female.
