Winter Wishes ACK - Part 3

Today I have 4 more cards from the Winter Wishes Artful Card Kit (HOTP).  This brings the total so far from this kit to 15 cards.

Card #12 (above) - These cards were pretty quick & easy using fun die cuts from the kit.  The stamped greeting is from JustRite's Noel Christmas Ornaments.  Everything else is from the kit - inside & out.

Card #14:

All but the purple matting paper (from my stash) is from the kit.

Card #15:

Everything on the card front is from the kit except for the white matting paper.  I used a Spellbinder's die (Radiant Rectangles) to cut the inlay pattern and backed it with other paper from the kit. The stamped & embossed greeting is from a HOTP large Christmas stamp set I got years ago.  

Inside:

Inside I made a border from paper in the kit, added a label (which I stamped with a stamp from HOTP's Snow Globe stamp set).  The snowman was made using Spellbinder's dies (from the set Mr. & Mrs. Snoman).  His hat & scarf were die cut from papers in the kit - the rest was from my stash.  Mouth & nose were colored with my scroll & brush markers (on a scrap of paper which I attached behind the die cut).

Winter Wishes ACK - Part 2

Continuing with this Winter Wishes Artful Card Kit (ACK - from HOTP), I made 2 more cards (bringing the total so far to 11 from this ACK - & stash). 

Card #1 (above): Here's the first. The papers are from my stash.  Only the cutouts & die cuts are from the ACK. The stamped greeting at the top was stamped using a HOTP Small Stamp called Snowflakes and Swirls.

Inside:

Inside has NOTHING from the ACK.  Just more of the papers from my stash - and a die cut leftover from a Finished in a Flash Kit (also from HOTP).

Card #2:

The checked paper is from my stash - the striped is from the kit - as are all the other elements on this card front.

Inside:

Inside is more of the same.  Stamped greeting is a stamp from a small Gingerbread Man set from Imaginisce

HD Peony Promise - 90th Birthday Special

Today's card is one made for a very special friend who is celebrating her 90th birthday soon.  It's made like the 5 x 7 slider described near the bottom of this post.  I used a modified little book page (Hunkydory Peony Promise) for the left side of the card. Stickers & paper were from my stash.

The cutout on the left is from the little book.  The sticker on the right is from my stash.  Stamps used are from: Divinity Designs (Birthday Freebie) and JustRite (For All You Do Vintage Labels Three).

It's a Cat's & Dog's Life - Part 1

Today's cards are my first from a Hunkydory Pop-a-Topper set called "It's a Cat's & Dog's Life".  There are three of each 6" x 6" sheet of toppers in the set - making it perfect to share with my Mom & SIL when they come to paper craft with me! 

Card #1 (above): Except for the toppers & associate greetings &/or borders, everything is from my stash.  In this case, I found the red glitter card stock & the black & white pattern in my scraps.  I added a border using a strip of black paper & a silver ribbon, and finished the front with a sequin & paper "snaps" that a friend gave me.

Inside:

Inside is more of the black paper & silver ribbon & another small die cut from the topper set.  The greetings were stamped with black ink (from HOTP sets - Birthday Cheer & Birthday Greetings).

Card #2:

This card is an interlocking gate-fold card.  In addition to the die cuts from the set, I have red glimmer paper for the background & strips of silver poster board for borders.

Inside is more paper from my stash & another little die cut from the set.

Card #3:

The 2nd card finished up the die cuts from one page, so I started another - kittens this time.  The background for this card was a brown glimmer paper from my stash, embossed with an M-bossabilities folder (Spellbinders - 5x7 Imperial).  As you can see, I rounded the corners of the card & of the mats I created from gray scraps & gold metallic poster board.

Scraps of the papers used on the front form the backdrop for the small die cut on the inside.
