Please let me hear from you!

This blog is for sharing a love of paper crafting. I love paper crafting -
and Stampin' Up! products in particular -
so much so, that I became an independent Stampin' Up!®™ demonstrator earlier this year!
Full disclosure: I get a small commission on purchases made using links from this website - but this in no way affects your price. It just serves to help support this blog. Thank you in advance for that support!

Enjoy browsing my blog, and I'd love to hear from you.
It is what helps make the time I put into this blog feel worthwhile, and always brightens my day.

Another Special Book

Today I made another squash book - made like the others I've made in the past - instructions here.  Since it is made with three 12 x 12 pieces of card stock like the others I've made, the pages are 6 x 6 - with several half pages (due to the folds).  The covers are 6 1/4" squares.  It's interesting that when made this size, if you cut 8 x 8 papers in half diagonally, and then each of those halves in half from the point to the center of the long side, you end up with four pieces that fit the half pages beautifully with a small edge around them.

You can see the cover in the picture above.  I covered the cover with vinyl wallpaper.  The mat is also wallpaper.  The gold borders and corners are stickers from HOTP.  The ribbon is from my stash and allows one to tie the book closed.

Below is a picture of the squash book opened up.

Here's a closer look at each section:

And here's a look at the reverse side (with the covers in place the way they fold out):
