Card #1:
This first is an A2 card. I had some purple mirri board (from HD) that I thought went pretty well with it, so die cut a piece for the background (this is really the center of a mat piece on a card I'll show you soon. The focal and sentiment are from the set.
Inside:
The border strip is actually a scrap leftover from the die cut sheet - with a small sentiment from the set.
Card #2:
Next is a thank you card made with elements from the watering can AS. I die cut the watering can with a basic circle die, and die cut a mat from pink card stock. (I actually cut out the center of the mat and used it on the inside of the card.) I cut the corners off the AS sheet. The first corner went in the upper right as is. The 2nd one I cut into into pieces and glued one small piece to the lower left corner. The sentiment is a stamp from one of Mom's stamp sets - stamped on a strip of the AS (if you look closely you can see the lines from the "wood"). I put the sentiment on foam tape.
Inside:
As you can see, I put part of the corner from the AS in the lower left. The left-over pink circle forms the mat for another circle cut from the AS and stamped with a stamp from a HOTP set called "Thank You!" The butterfly was a sticker from my stash.
Card #3:
Here I've used a couple of large oval frames from the set - cutting one apart and arranging it as you see here. This forms a great place to put the tiny sentiment from the set - matted twice (once with a die cut from the AS using a Spellbinder's die called "Splendid Circles" and once with a piece of purple mirri that was cut with a basic circle die. The butterflies were from my stash. Their "trails" were innies from some border stickers.
Inside:
Once again I used a die cut border from the set - this time a large circle. Inside of this I stamped a sentiment using one of my Mom's stamps, and then added a tiny butterfly die cut from the set.
Card #4:
I REALLY like the way this first one turned out! The card front is simply a border piece of the AS. I cut a narrow strip from the right and attached it to the left, giving a more finished look. This is matted on some purple Mirri card stock. Before adding my focal panel, I ran a couple of ribbons around it about 1/3 up from the bottom to form a border. My greeting die cut (from the set) completes the card front.
Inside:
Inside I created cut two borders from the included border strip & added a small die cut. The stamp is from a HOTP set called Birthday Cheer.
Card #5:
Next up is a sympathy card. In order to make the AS fit the card front, I sliced off a piece, inserted a misc piece of AS I had, and covered it with a wide purple ribbon that came on a Christmas gift. I then added a more narrow turquoise ribbon & the die cut focal. I finished the card front with a die cut - purple mirri cut with a greeting die from HD (Moonstone Snippables, Floral Favorites, Lily).
Inside:
The border inside is basically just a narrow piece of what was used on the card front - and a butterfly from my stash. The stamp is from a HOTP set called Heartfelt Greetings.
Card #6:
This final card started with a piece of AS that was once again not quite as wide as I wanted. This time, I cut a wider piece from the border on the left to create a border on the right. I added strips of purple mirri, and then inked the edges before adding it to the card front. Then I simply added a die cut from the set & a greeting that I cut from a Debbi Moore download (no idea which one).
Inside:
The borders are from scraps of the die cut sheet. The stamp is from a HOTP stamp set called Birthday Greetings.
