HD A Sparkling Season - Winter Wonderland Part 2 (Sheep)

Today's cards are a continuation of the Winter Wonderland set of materials from Hunkydory's A Sparkling Season card kit & 8 x 8 paper pad.  Once again, here are the materials:

First is the die cut set - 1 sheet of die cuts and 2 coordinating sheets of AS (adoreable scoreable card stock).

Next are the parts of the 8 x 8 paper pad that coordinate with this set.

And here are the 5 cards I made from the SHEEP parts of these materials:

Here's a closeup look at each:

Card #1:

As you can see, this first one is a slimline card.  I cut a strip from a page from the 8 x 8 pad.  Since my card is 9 inches tall, I cut it near the top and separated the pieces with a piece of ribbon, silver flag strip, and sentiment from a Hunkydory Sentiments book.

Card #2:

This next card uses part of a piece of coordinating HD card stock as the background.  I separated the focal from it's two frames & backed the frames with a shimmery vellum type of paper.  As you can see, I arranged the frames and then centered the focal on them before adding a sentiment tag (also from the set).

Card #3:

This is another scene cut from a sheet from the 8 x 8 paper pad.  This time I matted it with a brownish-gray from my stash and used a small square of the same to mat the sentiment (from a HD sentiment book).

Card #4:

This is the card shown at the top of this post.  I decided I wanted it to be a birthday card rather than a Christmas card.  I used a scrap of beautiful blue Glitzy paper.  I also had a scrap of the coordinating card stock left, so used that to back the arched frame that surrounds the focal.  Both sentiments are from a HD book of sentiments.

Inside:

I used the remaining arched frame to frame a stamped sentiment (one of Mom's stamps) and added a little tag from the set (with ribbon from my stash) to complete the inside.

Card #5:

This last sheep card was cut from one of the pieces of AS.  I simply wrapped a piece of ribbon around it for a border before gluing it to the front of the card.  I glued an additional cutout sheep (from the paper pad) and a sentiment (from a HD sentiment book) to complete this card.
