Happy Mother's Day

Today I have 3 quick Mother's Day cards.

Card #1 (above): This first started with an image from a Hunkydory set that my Mom shared with me called "Peony Promise" (or something like that!).  I embossed the background with my Rosa embossing folder (by Anna Griffin - Cuttlebug).  I cut the image to the shape I wanted and then matted it with metallic silver poster board & added to the card with foam tape.  The sentiment was from a Debbi Moore download set called "Cottage Retreat".

Inside:

The sentiment inside is just alphabet stickers.  The focal is from the Hunkydory set - matted on a piece of metallic silver poster board cut with a Spellbinder's die - Decorative Labels One.

Card #2:

This card started with a scavenged focal from a card received.  The sentiment was again from the Debbi Moore set - and inked with distress ink.  The background was the plain white card base - embossed with my Swiss Dots folder (Cuttlebug).

Inside:

Paper from my stash that coordinated with the card front forms the base for my stamped sentiment (from a set of Poppy stamps from HOTP).

Card #3:

This last card started with another scavenged card front.  After fussy cutting it as I wished, I matted it on green suede paper (hard to tell in the picture, but pretty IRL).  The banner sentiment was from a CraftsUPrint download called "Unicorn Birthday"!  I colored it with distress inks so it would blend better.  Then I stamped the name with a homemade stamp I made using my stampmaker.

Inside:

Inside is a piece cut from beautiful stationary my grandmother had.  On top of this is a frame - (cut with Spellbinder's 5X7 Matting Basics die) once again from the green suede paper. (HOTP - Love that stuff!)
