Sugar Plum ACK Part 6

Well, this is a kit that seems never ending!  In this 6th installment of the Sugar Plum Artful Card Kit (HTOP) I've made 5 more cards - bringing to total so far to 20.  Most of what I had left was patterned paper since apparently I got two of each sheet in the kit!  So, I've had to go into my stash and get creative about finding focals to use with it.

Card #1 (above):  For my focal in this first example, I've used a picture cut from an envelope I received for Christmas and stored in my stash.  I added red glimmer paper from my stash for mats and borders.  I needed to use up this scrap of patterned paper and felt an embossed card front would go well with it.  As you can see, I made a border from other scraps - some of which I cut with a Card Making Magic border die from their A5 Box Kit.  The "Merry Christmas" greeting is from the ACK.  The word "joy" in the upper left-hand corner is a hand-lettered embellishment I made using a die  from Spellbinder's Luscious Labels One.  The embossing is a 5X7 M-Bossabilities folder called Elite.

Inside:

Inside I have borders created by combining a bunch of scraps, and a focal greeting.  The greeting itself is from the ACK - which I matted on a piece die cut using Spellbinder's Radiant Rectangles (with part of the center to cut out to fit the way I wanted it).

Card #2:

This next card once again uses paper & greetings from the ACK.  For a focal, I die cut some ornaments (Paper Artist Three Lacy Christmas Ornaments), backed them with paper, and arranged them along a ribbon border.  The stars were from my stash & the frame for the greeting was a die cut from Spellbinder's Renaissance Jeweled Frame).

Inside is more of the same.

Card #3:

For this 3rd card, the paper is once again from the ACK, but the rest is from my stash - ribbon, brads, red glimmer paper.  The tags were printed from a freebie from TheNavagePatch.  The tray of "cookies" is a brad buddy from HOTP.  I colored the tag with Distress Ink to tone down the white.

Card #4:

I still had more of that paper left over, so went looking for more things to use with it.  I found these mittens & other embellishments in my stash - old HOTP stuff.  The greeting is stamped on a label from the kit using a stamp from Christmas Labels & Trims (HOTP).

Inside:

Inside is more of the same - with a greeting from Divinity Designs Christmas Card Scriptures.

Card #5:

For this card I used a focal from a Christmas card I received in the past.  The tag is from my stash (old HOTP stuff). Once again I used distress ink to tone down the bright white in the greeting.

Inside is more scraps of the paper and a greeting - label from my stash stamped with a stamp from JustRite's Noel Christmas Ornaments.
