This was another card made for a timed challenge. It required the use of a vellum layer. I decided to make a card to express my appreciation to my husband for his willingness to clean up in the kitchen, and thought this stamp from a Hot Off the Press set would be just right (the words are also from that set).
I stamped the images in embossing ink and embossed them with fine black embossing powder. Then I colored the image in with metallic cream chalks. I cut the shape using the Design Tool Kit set of templates that I talked about yesterday, and then embossed around the edge by inking the edges with embossing ink, and then embossing with the fine black embossing powder. My husband loves orange (one of the colors of the sports teams he roots for) so I put the card together with some orange scraps (inking the edges of them with black ink).
