Today's post is the last one in the series "Use It Up" Covered Notepads with Stickers. It makes use of strawberry dimensional stickers from the dollar store. This one is pretty basic, but the red against the green really makes it pop. Love those lacy Spellbinders dies for making fancy mats!
This one is even more basic. An embossed border adds a bit of interest. Note that I covered the red strawberry with another flower so I could have a sticker without red in it.
This one is also pretty basic - might have been better with a slightly larger mat. The bees are a fun addition.
Double matting with different shapes can really help add interest.
Here's a double mat where the 2nd mat is just barely bigger than the first. It still gives an interesting effect.
Fortunately, this one has no red berries yet - just blossoms. Red REALLY wouldn't have looked too good with this color background!
Here's another with two different shaped dies used for mats. I really do like the effect of using two very differently shaped mats. I find it helpful to use these dies to cut mats out of scraps. This helps ensure I use the scraps and gives me mats that are all ready to go when I need them for a card or notepad cover.
